What a place.. 3/4 miles of softsand with sunshine and wind..
when we first arrived a lot of kites were being set up on the beach (about 100) but no wind, along comes 2 o'clock and someone switches the wind fan on, 20 to 25knts.

I was out on top secret kit!!!!!!!!!! but ive never jumped so high off six foot wave faces i was getting about 30/40 ft of air and just seemed to hang there, even doing a huge board off in the process...

WINDSURFERS........ there were loads of them and we were raceing each other out and back at one stage i was talking to a windsurfer whilts touching the back of his boom doing stupid speeds, excellent fun..

A huge thankyou to John at Powerkiteshop for takeing me out there also to Maui Magic and tushingham sails for the 5 star hospitality (all Free)....

I don't know much about windsurfing but there was some impressive kit there to try and the guys were motoring on it..

Maui Magic had there fourth in the world ranked kitesurfer there etieene somebody..you know the tricks you see shots of in the mags where the guys higher than the kite doing a kite loop..well to see one in real life is an awe inspiring thing to see with handlepasses thrown in for good measure..these guys are right on the limit of power when they throw huge 50ft tricks etc....top week
